It is very thin, so if you’re looking for a thick or heavily padded carpet, this is probably not the right fit for you. I purchased the 9' × 12' size along with a rug pad, but I decided not to use the pad because the carpet lies nicely on the floor without it. Since it arrives folded, it takes a little time to become completely flat. I especially recommend it for homes with pets because it’s easy to clean and dries very quickly. The material could feel a little more high-quality, which is why I gave it four stars, but overall, I’m very happy with how it looks and performs.
